AIRROBE


︎ STRATEGY, DESIGN DIRECTION, PRODUCT

Launch Australia’s newest second-hand marketplace. And, at the same time, integrate with merchants to allow their customers to re-sell what they buy now, down the line.


BACKGROUND_
AirRobe is a recently funded startup and I was extremely fortunate to be part of the founding team – brought on in the very early stages as a Creative and UX Director. I worked alongside the founder to bring an idea into reality.

HIGHLIGHTS_
Turned an idea into a product. I worked closely with the founder and the team to shape the product vision and strategy of AirRobe. This process involved creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and a commitment to seeing the idea come to life.

Juggled many different hats. Working within the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup demanded versatility and a willingness to wear many hats. I embraced the role of a creative Swiss army knife, diving into diverse aspects of the company's operations. This included conducting extensive research, forming key connections, testing and designing the product, and coordinating various tasks. I also took charge of scripting videos, composing emails, creating pitch deck presentations, and generating content to promote the AirRobe brand.

Pitched to leading online retailers, successfully. Presenting a groundbreaking concept in a market is no small feat. My role involved educating potential partners about the potential of AirRobe and demonstrating the value it could bring to their businesses. Within the first year of operation, we achieved a significant milestone by securing a partnership with Australia's largest online retailer, The iconic, surpassing a goal initially set for the second year. Additionally, we successfully onboarded six other prominent retailers.


THE PRODUCT_
AirRobe's plugin integrates directly into online retail stores and prompts customers to save purchase details (description and images) to their AirRobe account for ease of resale later on AirRobe’s marketplace – saving fashion from landfill.

The marketplace is an ever-evolving product and we’re constantly learning, testing, iterating and launching. 


MY ROLE_
Transformed a visionary concept into an impactful product. Exceled in a dynamic startup environment, and secured high-value partnerships while promoting sustainable and environmentally-conscious practices in the fashion industry.

Creative and design direction, user research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping and testing.

My responsibilities extended to marketing efforts, where I actively contributed to the promotion of AirRobe. Moreover, I played a key role in pitching the concept to potential partners, successfully securing partnerships with leading online retailers and merchants, thereby advancing the platform's growth and influence.

My ability to navigate these multifaceted responsibilities and deliver results underscores my commitment to making a positive impact through innovation and collaboration.
